Title: Should we make it a tradition?
Post by: Jimmy V. on 13/06/16, 04:17pm
Sometimes, players say:

"Hello from Montreal!"
"Hello from Paris!"
"Hello from Zurich!"
"Hello from Hong-Kong!"

What do you think of this? Should we make it a tradition?

PS: you can choose your opening message in the settings. Click on the little wheel above the green dice in the main menu!

I'm all for it. It's at least a little bit better than just saying "Hello" (and variations in other languages)

Sounds like a good idea.

That works as long as players sit in Paris or Montreal. I am looking forward to messages like "Hello from Craponne" or "Hello from Sudbury" :-P

Does clicking on the meeple next to the greeting do anything besides increment the meeple number? That's how we can recognize and hopefully start a new tradition I guess?

I've added to the above post what I mean by meeple so it's more clear.

Yes that's the number of likes. If you leave your mouse on the meeple, you get to see who liked.

If the meeple gets to 3, it changes color and shape.
