Title: Help us find the best name for points!

Hello,

Points will be awarded for daily quests and other achievements (meeples, etc.). These points will be mainly used to customize your world. How would you like us to call those points?

Our favourite is: King's favours.
Also possible are:
- Queen's favours
- Honour points
- Fame points

What is your favourite? Have you got any other suggestion? I am sure you will have great ideas.

I like the idea of "Happy something".

The money would however be confusing with gold coins. So it is probably better to use a different term.

Dollars does not go very well with medieval times (our world is supposed to be in such times).

I like "King's favours" as it goes well with the idea of rewarding players for achieving things. Can you take the opportunity to let me know if you see anything wrong with King's favours?

happy points works, too.

When I say each of them out loud, I think happy loot (or happyloot) rolls off the tongue easiest.

I like the "happy" in the name too. So what about

happy penny
happy gold
happy crown(s)
happy pence ?

How about any of these?

"Meeps"
"Smilies"   ( icon would be a gold coin embossed with a smile face)
"Joysters"  ( a play when shells were used as money, maybe a golden shell shape here?)

Lots of interesting ideas. Keep them coming! One does not know what may come from this brainstorming!

Remember that we need to translate everything. So anything too much related to the English language has less chance of making it.

Medieval? Know some in german like Taler or Dukaten. Think its thaler and ducates in english...  ;)

what about "silver sickles"?  rolls of the tongue nicely in english.. Sickles are definately medieval and if your doing an icon,.. could be same as the gold coin only silver..

What does beeples relate to apart from meeples? I suppose there is an English word I don't know.

I like the adjective royal in any case.

I too like Royal as the adjective, but I think picking too literally is a bit robotic and frankly nerdy. Beeple is fun sounding in English at least and is a neat word play off the site's name that people will remember. King's Coin etc is too WoW and the other vague references to currency from the time period are too vague and try hard. Hope this helps.
